Meet Dr. Abby Johnstone
Dr. Johnstone is committed to delivering outstanding dental care with a focus on patients and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere. Originally from Mason, Michigan, she earned her B.S. in Biology and a certification in Spanish Language and Culture from Northern Michigan University. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a kayak tour guide on Lake Superior, fostering her love for outdoor activities like kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, and snowboarding.
Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Johnstone pursued her DDS at the University of Detroit Mercy. Her dedication to the field was recognized with awards in Public Health Dentistry and Senior Student Research. Her research focused on the oral health needs of senior community members, providing free oral cancer screenings. Dr. Johnstone also served as the president of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, volunteering at a free community clinic.
Attracted by the outdoor opportunities and sense of community, Dr. Johnstone chose Gallatin Valley as her home. She is enthusiastic to be part of Belgrade Family Dental, where she aims to offer the highest quality, evidence-based dental care to families in the area.
